What do you want?

Posted October 17th, 2009 22:18 by DeathBoy

Hello, fuckholes!

It just occurred to me that now I have a comments-driven site, I can actually ask questions:

What do you fuckers WANT out of DeathBoy?

If you’re outside of the UK, we probably can’t come and play your hometown. Sorry, we’d love to. That’s the most common question I’ve had asked of me. We’ll try.

Other than that, is there something you fuckers WANT?

A CD containing some specific tracks?

To be able to buy the CD in a given country that we don’t cover?

Artwork / lyrics for something?

For me to set fire to my penis live, on TV, while chugging a bottle of vodka and screaming ALLAH IS LORD?

If there’s something we don’t provide, or a question you’d like the answer to, make a comment.

I will attempt to reply without saying things about your mom*.

* I will probably say thing about your mom.

That DVD of your entire back catalogue you mooted a loooong time ago =P

Including video of you setting fire to your penis live, on TV, while chugging a bottle of vodka and screaming ALLAH IS LORD would be doubly awesome.

Having the above play as the background for the dvd menu would totally win an internet.

Can you put up the lyrics to Fallout, Rohypnology, and Safety in Numbness?

  • DeathBoy says:

    Done, feller ;)

I’ve added most of the album, hope that helps!

    …Have you been watching Erebli’s videos…?

Seriously, I’d like to see a link to buy the commercial releases electronically directly from you rather than from a 2nd party retailer or from a record label. Oh, and a merch section (not to be confused with a merc section). PS: came across your music through Pandora.

    Don’t know of Ereblie’s videos :) link?

We *could* offer links to electronic releases directly, but genuinely, our current label, Lineout, is a small-scale setup run by a friend, we get a really good (majority) cut of the sales, and the cut to the label is fully earnt in terms of the support (basic services like setting up the new site for me among other things).

Lineout’s run by a guy called Bob, who puts his love of music above profits and has become a great friend :) He runs the label to put out music that otherwise wouldn’t reach people, one of the good guys :)

We do a 70/30 split on sales, *in the band’s favour* – I know it’s rare, but in this instance, buying via the label isn’t giving money to evil people, it’s giving a good cut to the band and a label that has earnt their share :)

It’s actually due to Bob that we got our music on Pandora, he’s the man :)
